It has occurred to me very recently that when two allow themselves to be completely vulnerable when together, there is the greatest chance for success in love. Ironic in a way that the best way to keep love is to be willing to lose it completely if it isn't true. Losing love in spite of openness is still very hard. Even though we shouldn't grieve, we do and I have.
